2) ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS OF USE
The present document (henceforth referred to as the Legal Notice) is intended to regulate
use of the website that Codorníu has placed at the disposal of the public at http://www.codorniu.com.
Use of the website by third parties gives them the status of Users and implies complete acceptance by them
of each and every one of the conditions included in this Legal Notice.
Through the website Codorníu may offer services or products that are subject to special conditions, which
will be advised to the Users in each specific case.
3) CORRECT USE OF THE WEBSITE
Users agree to use the website, its contents and services in accordance with law, the present Legal Notice, customary good practice and public order. By the same token, Users undertake not to use the website or the services provided through it for unlawful ends or purposes, or for those contrary to the contents of this Legal Notice, which are harmful to the interests or rights of third parties, or which may in any way damage, disable or impair the website or its services or impede normal enjoyment of the website by other Users.
Users also expressly agree not to destroy, modify, disable or, in any other manner, damage electronic data, programs or documents and other items on the Codorníu website.
Users agree not to hamper access by others through massive use of the electronic resources by means of which Codorníu provides the service. Users also commit themselves not to damage, interrupt or cause errors in said systems.

4) INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
All website contents, except where otherwise indicated, are the exclusive property of Codorníu including, but not limited to, graphic design, source code, logos, texts, graphics, illustrations, photographs and any other items appearing on the website.
By the same token, all commercial names, brands or distinctive signs of whatever nature contained in the website are protected by law.
Codorníu does not grant Users any licence or authorization for personal use of its intellectual and industrial property rights or for any other right relating to the website and the services offered therein.
As a consequence, Users acknowledge that reproduction (except for private use), distribution, commercialization, transformation, and in general, any other method of exploitation, by whatever means, of all or any part of the contents of this website constitutes a breach of Codorníu´s or the owner´s intellectual and/or industrial property rights.
5) REGULATIONS ON LIABILITY
5.1. Liability for Use of the Website
Users are individually liable for offences committed or damage caused by using the website, whereas Codorníu, its partners, group companies, collaborators, employees and representatives are exempt from all liability that may arise from the Users´ actions.
Although Codorníu makes every effort to publish reliable information on the website, it does not guarantee the absence of potential inaccuracies, errors and/or omissions.
Users are the only persons liable for any claim or legal, judicial or extrajudicial action initiated against Codorníu in connection with use of the website by Users. Where appropriate, Users will be responsible for such expenses, costs and damages as may be occasioned by Codorníu as a result of such claims or legal actions.
5.2. Liability for operation of the website
Codorníu rejects all liability arising from interferences, omissions, interruptions, computer viruses, telephonic failures or disconnection of the electronic operating system for reasons beyond Codorníu´s control.
Codorníu also rejects any liability that may arise through delays or blockages in the electronic operating system caused by failure or overloading of the telephone lines or the Internet, in addition to any damage caused by third parties through unlawful interference beyond Codorníu´s control. Codorníu may temporarily suspend, without prior notice, access to the website for reasons of maintenance, repair, updating or improvement.
5.3. Liability for links
The links contained in the website lead Users to other websites managed by third parties. Codorníu is not liable for any information outside its website, as the purpose of the links is solely to inform Users about the existence of other sources of information on a specific topic. Codorníu is exempt from all liability for the correct operation of such links, for the results obtained through such links and for the veracity and lawfulness of the contents or information to which access is given, and also for any harm that Users may suffer by virtue of information found in the link website.
6) POLICY REGARDING PERSONAL DATA OBTAINED THROUGH THE WEBSITE
6.1. Through forms
Without affecting the provisions of the forms on the website, when Users give their personal details they are authorizing Codorníu expressly to handle their Personal Data for the purposes stated. Codorníu shall include the data supplied by Users in a file, ownership of which will be duly advised to the Data Protection Agency.
Users or their representatives may exercise their right of access, rectification, cancellation or objection by written request addressed as indicated in the section “Corporate Identity” in the present Legal Notice.
7) USERS’ REMARKS
Users declare that the information, material or remarks which are not their own personal data and which are given to Codorníu through the website, do not infringe the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties, nor any other legal provision.
The information, material or remarks provided by Users to Codorníu is considered non-confidential, and Codorníu reserves the right to use it in the manner that it considers most appropriate.
8) MODIFICATIONS TO THE CONDITIONS OF USE
Codorníu reserves the right to modify, develop or update the conditions of use of the website at any time without prior notice. Users will be automatically bound by the conditions of use in effect at the time they access the website and as a result they should read such conditions of use periodically,
9) APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
All disputes or claims arising from the interpretation or execution of this Legal Notice shall be governed by Spanish law, and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona.
